The exhibition “Francisco Brennand – Mestre dos Sonhos (Dream Master) comes to Brasília on March 28.
Ceramics, paintings and drawings created by the artist from Pernambuco will be on display. Francisco Brennand is acclaimed worldwide for his ancestral and extremely peculiar art.
It is an opportunity to get in touch with the atmosphere of the mystical and fantastic universe created by the artist. Rose Lima is the curator of the exhibition, which presents 31 works of the original collection of the artist, created in several phases of his career.
The works by Brennand highlight themes such as reproduction, mythology, sexuality, historical characters and deities, permeated by signs of the popular tradition of Brazil’s Northeast.
