The official carnival has ended in Brazil, but it is increasingly common for carnival parades and performances to extend into March. Here in Brasilia it will be no different, and some parades (blocos) will perform as early as next weekend, February 21st.

The carnival in Brasilia had dozens of parades performing in Plano Piloto and satellite cities. The great celebration of joy took place very normally this year. The Federal District Security Secretariat organized a large policing scheme, which prevented theft and violence. It was undoubtedly one of the safest carnivals ever held in the Federal District.

The Government of the Federal District, through its Secretariat of Culture, has made the carnival schedule available online, which includes events that will take place in the coming weeks.

Cell phone, bank card safety tips and drinking and driving

If your cell phone is stolen, it’s important to know your device’s IMEI number to inform the police. This number is written on the phone’s box or can be found by dialing *#06# on the device. BRASILIA AINDA TERÁ EVENTOS DE CARNAVAL ATÉ O MÊS DE MARÇO!

O carnaval oficial terminou no Brasil, mas é cada vez mais comum blocos e apresentações de carnaval se estenderem até o mês de março. Aqui em Brasília não será diferente e alguns blocos se apresentarão já no próximo final de semana do dia 21 de fevereiro.

O carnaval em Brasília teve dezenas de blocos se apresentando no Plano Piloto e Cidades Satélites. A grande festa da alegria aconteceu com muita normalidade. A Secretaria de Segurança do Distrito Federal organizou um grande esquema de policiamento e isso evitou ações de furto e violência. Foi sem dúvida um dos carnavais mais seguros já ocorridos no DF.

O Governo do Distrito federal, através de sua Secretaria de Cultura, disponibilizou na internet a agenda do carnaval e nela estão os eventos que acontecerão nas próximas semanas.

Cuidados com celular, cartão de banco e dirigir alcoolizado

Caso seu celular seja furtado, é importante saber o número de IMEI de seu aparelho para informar a polícia. Este número está escrito na caixa do celular ou pode ser conhecido ao se digitar *#06# no aparelho. Anote o número de IMEI em um lugar seguro. Com o número de IMEI, a polícia conseguirá fazer a devolução do aparelho em caso de recuperação.

Não dê seu cartão bancário para vendedores passarem nos aparelhos de cobrança. Muitos cartões são trocados nessa hora. Mantenha o seu cartão sempre com você e verifique com cuidado o valor digitado pelo vendedor nos aparelhos de cobrança. Muitos valores são alterados na hora da cobrança e as pessoas fazem os pagamentos sem perceberem da alteração.

Se for dirigir, não beba. No Brasil, a multa por dirigir alcoolizado vai de quase 3 mil reais até a aplicação de multa + prisão.
