The collective Theater, a group of five artists-researchers based at the University of Brasilia, debuts its first show at the CCBB Brasilia in April. After the local season, the stage play “O Amor que Habito” (The Love I Live In) goes on its international debut in the city of San Marcus, Texas.
The stage play is about soul encounters in times of liquid modernity … Do you know that voice inside your head? The one who sneaks in? In the shower, in the traffic or in an empty apartment? Where does it come from? Why does it won’t keep quiet? What is it so afraid of? What voice is this that inhabits us, challenges us and finds us wherever we go?
A doorman addicted to coffee, a stubborn gravedigger, a nice little lady, and a hopelessly passionate girl are connected with the actors and their encounters and disenchantment with love. In an attempt to make their souls more lucid about love, they venture to answer: What love do I live in? Is it time to love?
