The Story of the Play
Nina moved from Maranhão to Brasília because her father passed a public competition. Newly arrived in Brazil’s capital, the girl struggles with the drought, difficulty finding her way, and missing her friends and her mom.
On her first day of school, she gets lost while admiring a butterfly, and her adventures begin. Nina learns about the typical animals of the cerrado, and after many songs, scares, and laughs, she finally manages to return home. And the best part: with new friends and a beautiful life lesson!
With the help of the Cururu Frog, the Spotted Jaguar, the Cicada, and the Maned Wolf, Nina learns that we are all the same, even coming from different places, as that’s how our beloved Brasília, or the “Airplane City,” was created.
A Creative and Exciting Children’s Show
The set is inspired by the main monuments of Brasília, as well as the capital’s symbol tree, the ipê. Four actors specializing in children’s theater rotate through 10 characters with amazing costumes representing the entire fauna of the cerrado.
With 8 high-quality musical numbers, including parodies of Queen and original songs, the story unfolds in a highly interactive way over approximately 70 minutes.

Nina e seus amigos estão mais uma vez prontos para cativar não só os pequenos corações, mas também os corações dos adultos! Venha conhecer de perto a Onça Pintada, o Gavião Real, a Cigarra e muito mais!
A história da peça
Nina veio do Maranhão morar em Brasília porque seu pai passou em um concurso público. Recém chegada à capital do Brasil, a menina sofre com a sêca, a dificuldade em se localizar e também com a saudade dos seus amigos e da sua mamãe.
No primeiro dia de escola já se perde ao admirar uma borboleta e daí começam suas aventuras. Nina conhece os animais típicos do cerrado e após muitas músicas, sustos e risadas, consegue finalmente voltar para casa. E o melhor: com novos amigos e uma bela lição de vida!
Com ajuda do Sapo-cururu, da Onça-pintada, da Cigarra e do Lobo-Guará, Nina aprende que somos todos iguais, mesmo vindo de lugares diferentes, pois é assim que foi criada a nossa querida Brasília, ou se preferir, a “Cidade Avião”.
Um espetáculo infantil criativo e emocionante
O cenário é inspirado nos principais monumentos de Brasília, bem como na árvore símbolo da capital, o ipê. São quatro atores especializados em teatro infantil que se revezam em 10 personagens com figurinos incríveis que representam toda a fauna do cerrado.
Com 8 números musicais de altíssima qualidade, entre paródias do Queen e músicas autorais, a história se desenvolve de maneira bastante interativa, em aproximadamente 70 minutos de espetáculo.
A infância é a época em que se formam as bases da nossa criatividade e nada melhor do que o teatro para estimular de maneira leve e profunda este momento tão importante do desenvolvimento. “As Aventuras de Nina e a Cidade Avião” é, além de tudo, uma bela introdução ao teatro e também um lindo e verdadeiro tributo de amor a esta cidade que voa na nossa imaginação.
