When the lights go out in an old theater in Central Park, the puppets come to life. Among them is Don, who dreams of exploring the world and having a life of his own. When he leaves the theater in search of this fulfillment, he meets DJ Doggie Dog, a discarded plush toy who wants to become a rap star. Together, they will try to make their dreams come true.
