The governor of Distrito Federal, Mr. Ibaneis Rocha announced, on Wednesday, April 29th, that he will postpone until May 11 the reopening of the stores in the capital. Initially, he had stated that the resumption of activities would take place as early as Monday, May 4th, as it can be seen by clicking here.
The governor also postponed to the same date the application of fines in the amount of BRL 2.000 for those who do not wear masks on the streets and in public spaces, which were proposed to start on Thursday, April 30th. According to the governor, the use remains recommended but without the application of punishments and fines.
The Distrito Federal Government (GDF) sent a note stating that, unlike what had been previously disclosed, public transport passengers will be able to ride on buses without the mandatory use of the personal protective mask until the 11th of May.

GDF adia a reabertura das lojas de Brasília
O governador do Distrito Federal, Sr. Ibaneis Rocha, anunciou na quarta-feira, 29 de abril, que adiará até 11 de maio a reabertura das lojas da capital. Inicialmente, ele havia declarado que a retomada das atividades ocorreria já na segunda-feira, 4 de maio, como pode ser visto clicando aqui.
O governador também adiou para a mesma data a aplicação de multas no valor de R $ 2.000 para quem não usa máscaras nas ruas e nos espaços públicos, que foram propostas para começar na quinta-feira, 30 de abril. Segundo o governador, o uso permanece recomendado, mas sem a aplicação de punições e multas.
O Governo do Distrito Federal (GDF) enviou uma nota informando que, diferentemente do que foi divulgado anteriormente, os passageiros do transporte público poderão andar de ônibus sem o uso obrigatório da máscara de proteção individual até o dia 11 de maio.
