The photographic exhibition “Tóquio Antes/Depois” (Tokyo Before/After), will be on exhibition until June 6, Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, at Galeria Vitrine, in Caixa Cultural Cultural Space, Setor Bancário Sul, Asa Sul.
Promoted by the Japan Foundation and the Japanese Embassy in Brazil, the exhibition has already passed through Canada, the United States and Mexico. Arriving for the first time in Brazil, the exhibition will be presented in Brasilia, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Manaus, Recife and São Paulo.
The exhibition consists of a retrospective of nine registered photographers bringing 83 works that represent the contrast between the Tokio of the 1930s and the 1940s and the megalopolis that it is today.
