The Embassy of Kazakhstan celebrated its country’s national day in a creative and innovative way: It held a friendly and family-friendly bike ride in Parque da Cidade, located in the Asa Sul neighborhood of Brasília.
The event was attended by representatives of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic corps accredited in the country, members of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Friendship Society, and representatives of the Brazilian press. The Brazilian friends warmly congratulated the Ambassador and the Embassy staff on Kazakhstan’s main national day, expressing their best wishes to the country. They emphasized that informal events like this bring the people of both nations even closer together and forge new friendships in a joyful and relaxed manner.
The beautiful sunny morning was perfect for the ride, and the participants had fun cycling along the park’s bike paths and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

At the end of the tour, and following tradition, the Brazilian guests were welcomed with a festive table (dastarkhan) featuring Kazakh national cuisine. Everyone enjoyed the wonderful gastronomic event at a park restaurant, which had been duly prepared for the reception.
Ambassador Bolat Nussupov and ambassadress Gulnaziya Nussupova welcomed the guests.
The Kazakh Ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Bolat Nussupov, and his wife, Mrs. Gulnaziya Nussupova, thanked everyone for their presence and emphasized the growing and strong friendship between Kazakhstan and Brazil. The guests applauded their hosts, and everyone shared a wonderful and unforgettable morning.
