The Ambassador of Oman to Brazil, Mr. Talal Al-Rahbi, hosted a dinner on June 19th to celebrate 50 years of friendship between Brazil and Oman. The event was supported by the Brazilian Minister of Tourism and had the presence of Minister Celso Sabino. The celebration happened at the ambassador’s residence in the Lago Sul neighborhood of Brasília.
Brazilian government officials, politicians, foreign ambassadors, diplomats, businesspeople, journalists, and notable figures from Brasília attended the beautiful event. A band played pleasant music, including hits from the famous Brazilian rhythm Bossa Nova. Guests mingled in the social halls and open air areas of the residence, enjoying a stunning view of Brasília.
Diplomats, bussinessmen and Brazilian authorities were at the event.

The national anthems of Brazil and Oman were played and after it ambassador Talal Al-Rahbi delivered a heartfelt speech highlighting the 50 years of friendship between his country and Brazil. Following him, the Minister of Tourism of Brazil, Mr. Celso Sabino, representing President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, also spoke, emphasizing the importance of good relations with the Sultanate of Oman. Both speeches were warmly applauded. Videos showcasing both countries were presented and a celebratory cake was offered to all.
The band started to play international pop hits and everyone enjoyed a joyful atmosphere. Ambassador Talal Al-Rahbi received congratulations from all for the success of the lovely celebration.
