The Korean Embassy welcomed journalists on the evening of June 4 for a get-together in which diplomats who had recently arrived in Brazil were introduced, as well as information on the economic, political and cultural relations between Korea and Brazil. 


The guests were welcomed by the new Korean ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Choi Yeonghan, and other South Korean diplomats. Everyone socialized in the social rooms of the ambassador’s residence.

After the journalists arrived, everyone was directed to the dining room, where several presentations were given by the diplomats, including the topics of Brazil-Korea Political Relations, Brazil-Korea Economic Relations and The Korean Wave in Brazil. The presentations received applause from the journalists, who were then able to ask questions.


The ambassador then invited everyone to enjoy a dinner with typical food from that beautiful Asian country.

Korean cuisine was enjoyed in an atmosphere of great joy and fellowship. At the end, everyone enjoyed games about Korean culture with prizes for the winners.

Ambassador Choi Yeonghan on behalf of his diplomatic team thanked everyone for attending the event and invited the guests to take a group photo.

The journalists and media outlet professionals thanked everyone for the pleasant evening and received informational material and gifts upon leaving.
