The power of tornadoes, the destruction they cause, and the tragedies on populations are in the film TWISTERS, recently premiered in Brazil.
In the film, Edgar-Jones stars as Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years, who now studies storm patterns safely on screens in New York City. She is drawn back to the plains by her friend, Javi, to test a revolutionary new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), the charismatic and reckless social media icon who enjoys posting his storm-chasing adventures with his loud team. As the storm season intensifies, terrifying phenomena never seen before are unleashed, and Kate, Tyler, and their rival teams find themselves directly in the path of multiple storm systems converging on the center of Oklahoma in the fight of their lives.
