A story showcasing the country’s cultural and environmental richness

CAIXA Cultural Brasília presents a storytelling session inspired by the book Sarewa – A Journey with the Langsdorff Expedition, which presents to the public the paths, encounters, and discoveries of the scientific expedition that traveled through Brazil in the 19th century.
From the sensitive perspective of the book, the activity reconstructs environments, characters, and landscapes that reveal the country’s cultural and environmental richness. In the guided tour, participants are invited to experience an immersive experience, guided by sounds, objects, and conversations that evoke the records made throughout the expedition.
The storytelling highlights Brazilian diversity, emphasizes the importance of the indigenous cultures portrayed in the work, and awakens an awareness of the different ways of documenting and understanding Brazil.
Registration is not required.

Uma contação de histórias inspirada no livro Sarewa – Uma viagem com a Expedição Langsdorff, que apresenta ao público os caminhos, encontros e descobertas da expedição científica que percorreu o Brasil no século XIX.
A partir da perspectiva sensível do livro, a atividade reconstrói ambientes, personagens e paisagens que revelam a riqueza cultural e ambiental do país.
Na mediação, os participantes são convidados a viver uma experiência imersiva, guiada por sons, objetos e conversas que evocam os registros feitos ao longo da expedição.
A contação destaca a diversidade brasileira, evidencia a importância das culturas indígenas retratadas na obra e desperta o olhar para as diferentes formas de documentar e compreender o Brasil.
