After conquering audiences around the world, the ABBA The History show lands in Brasília for a single performance next Saturday, the 28th, at the Ulysses Convention Center. Recognized as one of the most faithful tributes to the Swedish group, the show brings together musical and vocal excellence in an evening dedicated to the great hits that have marked generations.
Having performed in the most important theaters and event spaces in Brazil and abroad, the show recreates with rich detail the atmosphere that made the Swedish quartet famous. The production brings together the largest collection of costumes inspired by the band’s iconic outfits, as well as set design elements that transport the audience directly to the golden age of European pop.
The repertoire includes classics that have spanned generations and continue to thrill fans around the world, such as Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Chiquitita, The Winner Takes It All and Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! With a live band and vocals, the show is electrifying and designed to thrill the whole family.
The cast was carefully selected to ensure the authenticity of the performances. On stage, Endi Tupi brings Björn to life, Dona Dama plays Agnetha Fältskog, Joe Resend takes on the role of Benny Andersson, and Paty Andrade portrays Anni-Frid, recreating the essence of the protagonists with talent and charisma.
Lasting approximately 90 minutes, the show alternates between moments of pure nostalgia, ecstasy, and surprises, providing great emotions.
