The theatrical production “Eu Capitu,” sponsored and presented by Banco do Brasil and directed by Miwa Yanagizawa, aims to give voice to women in a context where male narratives still prevail. Inspired by the Brazilian literary work “Dom Casmurro” (1900) by Machado de Assis, the play’s text, written by Carla Faour, brings the emblematic character “Capitu” to dialogue with a teenager who witnesses the abusive relationship between her mother and her husband.
With a predominantly female team, the show seeks to highlight the viewpoint and voice of a collective of women. In the cast, actresses Flávia Pyramo and Mika Makino are prominently featured.

O espetáculo teatral “Eu Capitu”, patrocinado e apresentado pelo Banco do Brasil e dirigido por Miwa Yanagizawa, tem como objetivo principal dar voz às mulheres em um contexto onde as narrativas masculinas ainda predominam. Inspirado na obra de literatura brasileira “Dom Casmurro” (1900) de Machado de Assis, o texto da peça, escrito por Carla Faour, traz a emblemática personagem “Capitu” para dialogar com uma adolescente que testemunha a relação abusiva entre sua mãe e seu marido.
Com uma equipe majoritariamente feminina, o espetáculo busca destacar o ponto de vista e a voz de um coletivo de mulheres. No elenco, estão em destaque as atrizes Flávia Pyramo e Mika Makino.
