The governor of DF, Mr. Ibaneis Rocha, postponed the reopening of business and commercial establishments in the Federal District (DF) until May 18th. The decree was published in the Diário Oficial do DF (DF’s Official Gazette) on Thursday, May 7th. Previously, the reopening of activities considered non-essential was scheduled for Monday, May 11th.
On Wednesday, May 6th, the Federal Court in the Federal District suspended the plans regarding the reopening of establishments considered non-essential on May 11th.
The head judge of the 3rd Federal Civil Court, Ms. Kátia Balbino de Carvalho Ferreira, accepted a public civil lawsuit filed by the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), the Public Ministry of Labor (MPT) and the Public Ministry in the Federal District and Territories (MPDFT), in the face of pandemic of the new coronavirus (covid-19), and as a result of that, settling on a new date, that being on the 18th of May.
Reminder that gymnasiums, beauty salons, restaurants and bars will remain without authorization to open its doors.

Novo decreto adia para 18 de maio a reabertura de estabelecimentos comerciais e comerciais no DF
O governador do DF, Sr. Ibaneis Rocha, adiou a reabertura de estabelecimentos comerciais e comerciais no Distrito Federal (DF) até 18 de maio. O decreto foi publicado no Diário Oficial do DF na quinta-feira, 7 de maio. Anteriormente, a reabertura de atividades consideradas não essenciais estava prevista para segunda-feira, 11 de maio.
Na quarta-feira, 6 de maio, o Tribunal Federal do Distrito Federal suspendeu os planos de reabertura de estabelecimentos considerados não essenciais em 11 de maio.
A juíza-chefe do 3º Tribunal Civil Federal, Kátia Balbino de Carvalho Ferreira, aceitou uma ação civil pública movida pelo Ministério Público Federal (MPF), Ministério Público do Trabalho (MPT) e Ministério Público do Distrito Federal e Territórios (MPDFT), em face da pandemia do novo coronavírus (covid-19), e como resultado disso, estabelecendo-se em uma nova data, que será no dia 18 de maio.
Lembre-se de que ginásios, salões de beleza, restaurantes e bares permanecerão sem autorização para abrir suas portas.
