Egypt’s ambassador to Brazil, Ms. Mai Taha Khalil, received hundreds of guests for the celebration of her country’s national day, which took place on the evening of July 23rd 2024.
The beautiful party took place in the open air areas of the official residence, where a beautiful decoration was set up and a large screen showed videos about Egypt’s tourist attractions.
Among the guests there were Brazilian government officials, foreign ambassadors, diplomats, businesspeople and journalists. Everyone was getting together in an atmosphere of joy.

The anthems of Brazil and Egypt were played and after it the ambassador gave a speech greeting everyone and highlighting the two centuries of good diplomatic relations with Brazil, crowned with Brazil’s invitation for Egypt to join the G20 group.
The representative of the Brazilian government, Secretary for Africa and Midle East Ambassador Carlos Duarte also spoke and congratulated the ambassador and all Egyptian diplomats and attaches on the important day. He highlighted that trade relations between the two countries remain strong and with a constant growth trend. The two speeches were greatly applauded by everyone.
Ambassador Mai Taha Khalil invited everyone to enjoy the dinner especially made for the celebration, which included typical Egyptian foods and desserts, highly praised by everyone.
