In Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Indiana Jones (Harrisson Ford), famous archaeologist, professor and adventurer, embarks on yet another unexpected mission. In this return of the legendary hero, Indiana Jones, in the fifth installment of the iconic film series, finds himself in a new era, approaching retirement. He struggles to fit into a world that seems to have outgrown him. But when the clutches of an all-too-familiar evil return in the form of an old rival, Indiana Jones must put on his hat and pick up his whip once more to ensure that an ancient and powerful artifact doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.
Accompanied by his goddaughter Helena Shaw (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), the archaeologist races against time to retrieve the item that could change the course of history. Indiana Jones will fight against the villain Jürgen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), a Nazi who also has an interest in controlling the Dial of destiny.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is a 2023 American action adventure film directed by James Mangold and co-written by Mangold, Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth, and David Koepp. The film was produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm Ltd., and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
