The Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil Brasília inaugurated a new gallery on the 1st floor and is hosting the exhibition “Portinari Raros” by Candido Portinari (1903-1962) starting from August 29th. For context, Candido Portinari was a renowned Brazilian painter known for depicting the life and culture of Brazil in his works. His colorful and authentic art is an important legacy in the history of Brazilian art.
This exhibition will showcase 200 works by the artist, both in physical and digital formats. The focus of the presentation is to unveil lesser-known aspects of Portinari, such as his passion for nature, images from his childhood, artistic experiments, and his foray into the world of theater. Additionally, it offers an immersive experience called “Immensely Portinari” with an original soundtrack for visitors.

O Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil Brasília inaugurou uma nova galeria no 1º andar e recebe, a partir de 29 de agosto, a exposição “Portinari Raros”, de Candido Portinari (1903-1962). Para contextualizar, Cândido Portinari foi um renomado pintor brasileiro, conhecido por retratar a vida e cultura do Brasil em suas obras. Sua arte colorida e autêntica é um legado importante na história da arte brasileira.
Esta mostra apresentará 200 obras do artista, tanto em formato físico quanto digital. O foco da apresentação é mostrar aspectos pouco conhecidos de Portinari, como sua paixão pela natureza, imagens de sua infância, experimentações artísticas, e sua incursão nos palcos. Além disso, oferece uma experiência imersiva chamada “Portinari Imenso” com trilha sonora original para os visitantes.
