Starting in February and running until April 13th, the exhibition História(s) da Arte Brasileira (History(s) of Brazilian Art) arrives at Caixa Cultural in Brasília. Highlighting the work of artists from the Federal District and the Midwest, the exhibition presents a plural selection of the contemporary Brazilian art scene, including different themes, historical contexts, techniques and artistic languages.

All the works on display are part of the large private collection of Onice Moraes and José Rosildete de Oliveira, built up over 30 years of research and contact with artists, curators, researchers and institutions. The exhibition is divided into five sections – First Acquisitions, Paths of the Line, Corporeal, Borderlands and Views – which present the works acquired by the collectors since the 1990s and which carry the concept and identity of the artists. You can find an artistic panorama of paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations and prints.

Exposição: História(s) da Arte Brasileira na Caixa Cultural 

Tendo início em fevereiro até 13 de abril, a exposição História(s) da Arte Brasileira chega à Caixa Cultural de Brasília. Dando destaque ao trabalho de artistas do Distrito Federal e do Centro-Oeste, a exposição apresenta um recorte plural do cenário da arte contemporânea brasileira entre diferentes temáticas, contextos históricos, técnicas e linguagens artísticas.

Todas as obras expostas fazem parte do grande acervo particular de Onice Moraes e José Rosildete de Oliveira, construído ao longo de 30 anos de pesquisas e aproximações com artistas, curadores, pesquisadores e instituições. A mostra é dividida em cinco núcleos – Primeiras Aquisições, Percursos da Linha, Corpóreos, Fronteiriços e Vistas – que apresentam os trabalhos adquiridos pelos colecionadores desde os anos 1990 e que carregam o conceito e identidade dos artistas. É possível encontrar um panorama artístico entre pinturas, esculturas, fotografias, instalações e gravuras.
