On September 12th, the Embassy of Vietnam celebrated the 78th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The Vietnam’s Ambassador to Brazil, Mrs. Pham Thi Kim and other diplomats from Vietnam received guests for the great celebration.
The event was held in a event place at the Setor de Clubes Sul neighborhood (South Club Sector of Brasília).
An exhibition of pictures of Vietnam and national symbols, such as the flag of Vietnam and the National Emblem, were displayed at the entrance of the main hall.
Authorities of the Brazilian government, foreign ambassadors, diplomats, businessmen, press members and personalities of the Brazilian society were together to congratulate the Vietnamese nation for the important date.
After the first ambiance, the anthems of Brazil and Vietnam were played. Then the ambassador Pham Thi Kim Hoa started her welcome speech.
Her words highlighted the importance of Vietnam on the global stage, mainly in the World Food Security and the diplomatic relations between Brazil and Vietnam in various economic fields, which has been growing every year.
After her speech, the Secretary of Asia and Pacific of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Eduardo Paes Saboia reinforced the speech of the Ambassador, congratulating Vietnam for the National Day. The two authorities made a toast celebrating the friendship between their countries.
Then, the ambassador Pham Thi Kim Hoa invited the guests to go to the dinning hall to enjoy a dinner with the delicacies of the Vietnamese cuisine.
The ambassador and the diplomats of Vietnam were congratulated by the guests for the beautiful celebration.
