The Embassy of Pakistan welcomed journalists to communicate about Kashmir Exploration Day. The meeting took place in a social area of ​​the embassy in the early afternoon of August 5th and was attended by journalists from several Brazilian newspapers and media outlet professionals.

 


The guests were received by the new Ambassador of Pakistan to Brazil, H.E. Mr. Murad Ashraf Janjua, as well as the Deputy Head of Mission of Pakistan, Minister Irfan Ullah Khan and the Defense Attaché, General Tariq Naeem Athar.

Deputy Head of Mission of Pakistan, Minister Irfan Ullah Khan, welcomed the guests and started the event.

The guests watched a video about the dramatic situation of the Kashmiri population and their struggle for freedom.

The Pakistani Ambassador, Mr. Murad Ashraf Janjua, then gave a speech highlighting the rights already recognized by the UN in favor of the Kashmiri population and the importance of the nations of the world knowing about the terrible situation of oppression of that people.

After the speech, the journalists enjoyed a lunch with traditional Pakistani food in the beautiful open air area of ​​the Embassy and mingled with Pakistani diplomats and defense attaché.

 

All were given informational materials on the current situation in Kashmir and its struggle for freedom.
