The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brasilia welcomed hundreds of guests on Friday, September 13 2024, for a round table with journalists and a cocktail party to celebrate the Republic Day and to launch the Climatic Institute, an organization started in Germany and which will now also have activities in Brazil.

The meeting with journalists and media outlets began at 4:00 p.m., when the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Mr. Bolat Nussupov, gave a welcoming speech to everyone. The Ambassador presented the topics that would be discussed at that meeting by Counselor Darkhan Nursadykov and Press Secretary Aliya Kaiyrliyeva. The Ambassador gave an introduction to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s speech to the people of Kazakhstan on September 2. Among the topics discussed were the holding of the 5th World Nomad Games; the country’s social and economic development; the importance of ecology for Kazakhstan and the goal of making life in the country comfortable and safe. Ambassador Nussupov concluded by emphasizing that bilateral relations with Brazil have continued to grow over the thirty years of diplomatic relations, with Brazil being a key partner for Kazakhstan in Latin America. The ambassador invited everyone to the official reception in celebration of the Kazakh national holiday Republic Day, to be held in the social halls and open air areas of the embassy, starting after the meeting with the press.

Then, Embassy Counselor Darkhan Nursadykov presented the Message of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan. The President of Kazakhstan delivered the speech “Fair Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism”. The Kazakh President mentioned that the Parliament of Kazakhstan has adopted 102 laws, including laws on social control, combating human trafficking, science and technology policy, thermal energy, among others. According to him, great attention was paid to social issues, especially to the protection of children, and several other systematic measures were taken to increase the well-being of the people. In summary, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that the main goals of the state will be to ensure sustainable socio-economic progress; to fully reveal the creative potential of citizens and to increase the well-being of the people.

The Second Secretary of the Embassy, Ms. Aliya Kairliyeva, gave a presentation of the results of the Fifth World Nomad Games. The games are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and today are the largest event dedicated to traditional sports, attracting the participation of nations from Asia, Europe, North and South America, Africa and Australia.
The Fifth World Nomad Games were held in the city of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, and brought together more than 2,500 athletes and thousands of guests from 89 countries. The event celebrated the rich cultural heritage of nomadic civilizations and the unique sports and traditions passed down through generations. The 21-sport competitions took place from September 9-13 and provided a platform for nations with shared nomadic roots – and others – to come together in a celebration of cultural diversity, strengthening bonds of friendship and peace through sport. The President of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, delivered the opening address and highlighted the historical significance of nomadic cultures and their lasting legacy in shaping the world. The Kazakh leader emphasized the unifying power of the Nomadic Games, which serve not only to celebrate traditional sports, but also to promote global unity and mutual respect.

After the press conference, the diplomats and journalists headed to the embassy’s social lounges and open air areas, where a beautiful reception was held to celebrate Republic Day and the inauguration of the Instituto do Clima (Climatic Institute), which will play a major role in environmental preservation projects in Brazil. Dozens of guests attended the event, including Brazilian authorities and politicians, ambassadors, diplomats, businessmen, journalists, artists and personalities from Brasília society. The beautiful evening heralded a night of joy and fellowship, moments that will undoubtedly be unforgettable.

After everyone arrived, the national anthems of Brazil and Kazakhstan were played. Then, the ambassador of Kazakhstan, Mr. Bolat Nussupov, gave a speech emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and the growing friendship between his country and Brazil. Also speaking were the representative of President Lula da Silva and the president of the Climatic Institute, Mr. Peter Von Bohlen, who thanked the Kazakh Embassy for its partnership in creating the Climatic Institute in Brazil.
After the speeches, the guests enjoyed a beautiful performance of two Kazakh songs, performed by Brazilian musicians and also by the young Kazakh Tomiris Caesar, who also served as moderator and translator for the afternoon’s events. A Brazilian musical group continued the event and everyone fraternized under a joyful and friendly atmosphere, enjoying typical Brazilian cuisine along with delicious Kazakh desserts.

EMBAIXADA DO CAZAQUISTÃO promove o World Nomad Games e recebe convidados para o lançamento do Instituto Climático.
A Embaixada do Cazaquistão em Brasília recebeu centenas de convidados na sexta-feira, 13 de setembro de 2024, para uma reunião com jornalistas e um coquetel de lançamento do Instituto Climático, uma organização iniciada na Alemanha e que agora terá atividades também no Brasil.
A reunião com jornalistas e veículos de comunicação teve início às 16h, quando o embaixador do Cazaquistão, Sr. Bolat Nussupov, proferiu um discurso de boas-vindas a todos. O embaixador apresentou os temas que seriam tratados naquela reunião pelo Conselheiro Darkhan Nursadykov e pela Segunda Secretária Aliya Kaiyrliyeva, responsável pela Imprensa.
O embaixador deu uma introdução sobre o discurso do presidente Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, dirigido ao povo do Cazaquistão em 2 de setembro último. Entre os assuntos estavam a realização do 5º World Nomad Games; o desenvolvimento social e econômico do país; a importância da ecologia para o Cazaquistão e o objetivo de fazer a vida no país confortável e segura. O embaixador Nussupov finalizou enfatizando que as relações bilaterais com o Brasil seguem crescentes nesses trinta anos de relações diplomática, sendo o Brasil um parceiro chave para o Cazaquistão na América Latina. O embaixador convidou a todos para a recepção oficial em comemoração ao feriado nacional cazaque Dia da República, a ser realizada nos salões sociais e áreas externas da embaixada, com início após a reunião com a imprensa.
Em seguida, o Conselheiro da Embaixada Darkhan Nursadykov apresentou a Mensagem do Chefe de Estado Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ao povo do Cazaquistão. O presidente do Cazaquistão proferiu o discurso “Kazaquistão Justo: lei e ordem, crescimento econômico, otimismo público”. O presidente mencionou que o Parlamento do Cazaquistão adotou 102 leis, incluindo leis sobre controle social, combate ao tráfico de pessoas, política de ciência e tecnologia, energia térmica entre outras. Segundo ele, uma grande atenção foi dada às questões sociais, especialmente à proteção das crianças e que várias outras medidas sistemáticas foram tomadas voltadas para aumentar o bem-estar do povo. Em resumo, o presidente Kassym-Jomart Tokayev destacou que as principais metas do Estado será garantir um progresso socioeconômico sustentável; revelar plenamente o potencial criativo dos cidadãos e aumentar o bem-estar do povo.
A Segunda Secretária da Embaixada, Sra. Aliya Kairliyeva, fez uma apresentação dos resultados dos Quintos Jogos Mundiais Nômades. Os jogos fazem parte da Lista do Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO e hoje são o maior evento dedicado aos esportes tradicionais atraindo a participação de Nações da Ásia, Europa, América do Norte e do Sul, África e Austrália.
Os Quintos Jogos Mundiais Nômades foram realizados na cidade de Astana, capital do Cazaquistão, e reuniu mais de 2500 atletas e milhares de convidados de 89 países. O evento celebrou a rica herança cultural das civilizações nômades e os esportes e tradições únicos transmitidos por gerações. As competições de 21 esportes aconteceram entre os dias 9 e 13 de setembro e foram uma plataforma para que nações com raízes nômades compartilhadas – e outras – se reunissem em uma celebração de diversidade cultural, fortalecendo os laços de amizade e paz por meio do esporte.
O presidente do Cazaquistão, Sr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, discursou na abertura dos jogos e destacou o significado histórico das culturas nômades e seu legado duradouro a formação do mundo. O líder cazaque enfatizou o poder unificador do Jogos Nômades, que servem não apenas para celebrar os esportes tradicionais, mas também para promover a unidade global e o respeito mútuo.
Após a reunião com a imprensa, os diplomatas e jornalistas se dirigiram aos salões sociais e áreas externas da embaixada, onde uma bela recepção aconteceu em celebração ao Dia da República e a inauguração do Instituto do Clima, o qual terá forte atuação em projetos de preservação ambiental no Brasil.
Dezenas de convidados compareceram ao evento, incluindo autoridades e políticos brasileiros, embaixadores, diplomatas, empresários, jornalistas, artistas e personalidades da sociedade de Brasília. O belo fim de tarde anunciava uma noite de alegria e confraternização, momentos sem dúvidas inesquecíveis.
Após a chegada de todos, os hinos nacionais do Brasil e do Cazaquistão foram tocados. Em seguida, o embaixador do Cazaquistão, Sr. Bolat Nussupov, proferiu um discurso ressaltando a importância do Dia da República e crescente amizade de seu país com o Brasil. Também discursaram o representante do presidente Lula da Silva e também o presidente do Instituto do Clima, Sr. Peter Von Bohlen, o qual agradeceu a parceria da Embaixada do Cazaquistão para a criação do Instituto do Clima no Brasil.
Depois dos discursos, os convidados assistiram a uma bela apresentação de duas músicas cazaques, tocadas por músicos brasileiros e também pela jovem cazaque Tomiris Caesar, a qual também foi moderadora e tradutora nos eventos daquela tarde.
Um grupo músical brasileiro deu sequencia ao evento e todos se confraternizaram em uma atmosfera de alegria e amizade, degustando a culinária típica do Brasil em conjunto com as deliciosas sobremesas do Cazaquistão.
