Start the year taking care of what matters most: You! In 2026, the G7 Comedy Company celebrates 25 years of history. And to start the year with humor, critique, and intelligence, the troupe presents one of its most transformative shows: “Auto Ajude-se” (Self-Help).
There will be performances for only four weekends in January, always on Saturdays and Sundays at 7 PM, at the Teatro La Salle (Theater), Quadra 906, Asa Sul. It’s an excellent opportunity to start the best year of your life in a light and fun way, but also with a powerful reflection on your place in the world, the passage of time, and the search for happiness. The comedy plays with the “coaching” universe and the journey of Mr. João José, in his relentless quest to improve himself.
25 Years Bringing Joy and Reflection
“And what will you do for a living?”, “Is that enough to make a living?”, “But besides that, what do you do for a living?”, were common phrases asked of the young founders of what is now one of the largest comedy companies in Brazil, and undoubtedly the most active and largest audience-building company in the capital of Brazil.
G7, collectively, has written and staged more than 50 shows in 25 years. And all this history will be very well told throughout this year of 2026, during the “25 Years With G7 Season”. There will be many good surprises through the year, among them (spoiler!) the return of one of the biggest audience and critical phenomena in Brazilian Theater: “Como Passar em Concurso Público” (How to Pass a Public Service Exam).
Follow this very special season and relive moments of your own life, with the company that has also been with you for so long. And to start, nothing better than changing your life with “Auto Ajude-se” (Self-Help).
About the show: It’s time for you to become your own coach! “Auto Ajude-se” (Self-Help) is more than just a comedy. It’s a sharp satire that questions the need to look outside for what we already have within ourselves. The show challenges the audience to laugh at their own insecurities and to see the humor in attempts to become a better version of themselves. The play, which has already made thousands of spectators laugh, returns to the stage to show that sometimes the best coach is the one we find in front of the mirror.
“Self-Help” teaches that it’s not necessary to seek gurus or magical solutions, because the true secret to a happy life lies in having the courage to face our problems, laugh at our own mistakes, and move forward lightly, with the certainty that the light will shine, the music will get louder, and the audience will applaud you! Being 100% happy depends only on you! What prevents you from being 100% happy?
The answer is simple: you. But if you are the problem, you are also the solution!
Interactivity, improvisation, live music and hilarious scenes, “Auto Ajude-se” (Self-Help) has the G7 quality seal and also uses coaching principles and techniques.

Em 2026 a Cia de Comédia G7 completa 25 anos de história. E para começar o ano com humor, crítica e inteligência, a trupe apresenta um dos seus espetáculos mais transformadores: “Autoajude-se”.
Serão apenas quatro finais de semana em janeiro, sempre aos sábados e domingos, às 19 horas, no Teatro La Salle – 906 Sul. O G7, coletivamente, já escreveu e encenou mais de 50 espetáculos em 25 anos. E toda essa história será muito bem contada ao longo deste ano de 2026, durante a “Temporada 25 Anos Com G7”.
