The collective exhibition “Selva” (Jungle) is on display at Funarte until June 10. “Selva” (Jungle) is a collective proposal designed by Carla Guagliardi, Analu Cunha, Rochelle Costi and João Modé to talk about the distances and proximity between the forest and urban space.
Vulnerability, precariousness, interdependence and temporality are present in the premises of Carla Guagliardi, who create structures of apparent fragility for which the passage of time is often fundamental.
In this collective, artists seek to create dialogues between works and concepts that relate to each other and to the exhibition venue. They also try to think of the jungle as a place of high biodiversity, confronting the concepts of this biodiversity with a possible ‘urbediversity’.
