The Confederation of Commercial and Business Associations of Brazil – CACB launched the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) on August 21. The event took place at the institution’s headquarters, located in the North Commercial Sector of Brasília, and was attended by representatives of commercial associations and also of various sectors involved in Brazil’s foreign trade. The ambassador of the European Union, Mrs. Marian Schuegraf, attended the event and congratulated the CACB for the initiative.

The purpose of creating the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce – BRCC is to strengthen economic and commercial relations between Brazil and the rest of the world, promoting dialogue, multilateral trade and cooperation between governments and companies.

At the launch meeting, each invited member gave a presentation of their work and contributed with ideas on how to strengthen the performance of Brazilian micro and small companies in the export of their products.

At the end, everyone participated in a celebratory lunch, served in the confederation’s social hall.
