The Associação Brasileira de Indústrias de Materiais de Defesa e Segurança – ABIMDE (Brazilian Association of Industries of Defense Materials and Security) welcomed dozens of guests on the evening of August 28 to celebrate its 39th anniversary. The celebration took place at the International Convention Center of Brazil – CICB, in the Setor de Clubes Sul in Brasília, and was attended by Brazilian government officials, foreign ambassadors, Brazilian and foreign military personnel, businesspeople, journalists and personalities from Brasília society.
The guests socialized on the building’s beautiful rooftop and after everyone arrived, the event began with the playing of the Brazilian national anthem. Afterwards, everyone watched a video about the Defense sector. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABIMDE, Mr. Roberto Gallo, gave a welcome speech to everyone and highlighted the importance of the Defense sector for the protection of Brazil and the need for increased government investment in this important area. Other authorities gave speeches and congratulated ABIMDE on its 39th anniversary.
Defense attachés from many countries were at the event.
Ambassadors, foreign diplomats and businessmen were also there!
The book BASE INDUSTRIAL DE DEFESA E SEGURANÇA was launched at the event and authorities and businesspeople received a copy of the first edition. Guests were also given a digital version of the book. An anniversary cake and a celebration dinner was served to all guests.

ABIMDE celebra aniversário de 39 anos!
A Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Materiais de Defesa e Segurança – ABIMDE recebeu dezenas de convidados na noite de 28 de agosto para celebrar seu aniversário de 39 anos.
A festa aconteceu no Centro Internacional de Convenções do Brasil – CICB, no Setor de Clubes Sul de Brasília e contou com a presença de autoridades do governo brasileiro, embaixadores estrangeiros, militares brasileiros e estrangeiros, empresários, jornalistas e personalidades da sociedade de Brasília.
Os convidados se confraternizaram na bela cobertura do prédio e após a chegada de todos o evento teve início com a execução do hino nacional brasileiro. Em seguida, todos assistiram a um vídeo sobre a área de Defesa. O Presidente do Conselho de Administração da ABIMDE, Sr. Roberto Gallo, fez um discurso de boa-vindas a todos e ressaltou a importância do setor da Defesa para a proteção do Brasil e a necessidade de investimentos governamentais crescentes nesta importantea área. Outras autoridades discursaram e parabenizaram a ABIMDE pelos seus 39 anos.
O livro BASE INDUSTRIAL DE DEFESA E SEGURANÇA foi lançado no evento e autoridades e empresários receberam uma cópia da primeira edição. Os convidados foram também agraciados com uma versão digital do livro.
A importante celebração foi marcada pela beleza do lugar, pela noite de clima agradável e pela alegria de todos os convidados.
