Ambassador of Iran, Mr. Hossein Gharibi and the Military Attaché Colonel Mahdi Moghaddam

 

The Ambassador of Iran, Mr. Hossein Gharibi and the Military Attaché of that country, Colonel Mahdi Moghaddam received guests at the Clube da Aeronáutica (Air Force Club) on April 25 to celebrate the Armed Forces Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran and 120 years of bilateral relations between Iran and Brazil.


Dozens of guests attended the celebration, including Brazilian government officials, foreign ambassadors, diplomats, businesspeople, journalists and personalities from Brasília society.

Foreign ambassadors and Defense Attachés were at the event.

The anthems of Brazil and Iran were played and then the ambassador of Iran. Mr. Hossein Gharibi and the Military Attaché, Colonel Mahdi Moghaddam gave speeches on the important date. Military authorities from the Brazilian government also spoke praising the bilateral relations between the two countries.

A video about Iranian military strength was shown to the guests. Then the ambassador and the Military Attaché of Iran invited representatives of the Brazilian government to cut a festive cake prepared for the special celebration.

Afterwards, in a joyful atmosphere, everyone was invited to enjoy a special dinner prepared for the occasion. The Ambassador of Iran, Mr. Hossein Gharibi and the Military Attaché, Colonel Mahdi Moghaddam, received everyone’s congratulations for the success of the beautiful celebration.

Guests were able to see beautiful artistic objects from Iran.
