Between the 3rd and 7th of February, a delegation made up of members of the Defense Products Secretariat (SEPROD) and the Armed Forces was in Rio de Janeiro to visit bodies and entities that participate in the planning and execution of “LAAD Defense & Security 2025”. The main objective of the initiative was to generate synergy between participants, seeking to align actions to guarantee the success of the fair. LAAD Defense & Security is one of the most important defense events in Latin America and this edition promises to bring together companies, authorities and experts from different countries.
The participation of SEPROD and the Armed Forces is seen as fundamental to promoting the Brazilian Defense Industrial Base (BID), presenting new technologies and strengthening strategic partnerships.
The visit to Rio de Janeiro is part of SEPROD’s effort to optimize Brazilian participation in LAAD 2025. By integrating the work of different actors, the Secretariat seeks to ensure that the fair is a success and that the results obtained contribute to the advancement of the defense industry in Brazil.

SEPROD e Forças Armadas intensificam preparação para a LAAD 2025

Entre os dias 3 e 7 de fevereiro, uma comitiva composta por integrantes da Secretaria de Produtos de Defesa (SEPROD) e das Forças Armadas esteve no Rio de Janeiro para visitar órgãos e entidades que participam do planejamento e da execução da “LAAD Defence & Security 2025” . O objetivo principal da iniciativa foi gerar sinergia entre os participantes, buscando alinhar as ações para garantir o sucesso da feira. A LAAD Defence & Security é um dos mais importantes eventos da área de defesa na América Latina e esta edição promete reunir empresas, autoridades e especialistas de diversos países.
A participação da SEPROD e das Forças Armadas é vista como fundamental para promover a Base Industrial de Defesa (BID) brasileira, apresentar novas tecnologias e fortalecer parcerias estratégicas.
A visita ao Rio de Janeirofaz parte de um esforço da SEPROD para otimizar a participação brasileira na LAAD 2025. Ao integrar os trabalhos de diferentes atores, a Secretaria busca garantir que a feira seja um sucesso e que os resultados obtidos contribuam para o avanço da indústria de defesa no Brasil.
