Journalists and media outlet professionals were received at the Embassy of Pakistan on August 05 for a meeting about the Kashmir Day of Exploitation (Youm-e-Istehsal). That day gives light over the tragic situation of the people of Kashmir and their struggle for freedom.
The guests were welcomed by the Deputy Head of Mission of Pakistan, Minister Irfan Ullah Khan and also by the Defense Attaché, General Tariq Naeem Athar.

After the guests arrival, Deputy Head of Mission of Pakistan, Minister Irfan Ullah Khan, gave a welcome speech and highlighted the dramatic situation of the Kashmiri population and their struggle for freedom. A video was shown to the guests and the terrible atrocities in that region were presented with its numbers:

The Defense Attaché of Pakistan, General Tariq Naeem Athar, also delivered a speech and highlighted that the world cannot remain silent in the face of the gross violations of human rights that the Kashmiris face every day.
After the speech, the journalists were invited to taste a lunch with traditional Pakistani food in the beautiful open air area of the Embassy and to fraternize with Pakistani diplomats and defense attaché.
All were given informational materials on the current situation in Kashmir and its struggle for freedom.
