Ambassador of Nepal , Mr. Nirmal Raj Kafle
On September 20th, Nepal celebrated its national day with an event that brought together Brazilian government officials, foreign ambassadors and diplomats, businesspeople, journalists, and members of the Brasília community who are friends of the country.
After a brief introduction of the guests, the national anthems of Brazil and Nepal were played. Then, Ambassador Nirmal Raj Kafle delivered a speech highlighting Nepal’s achievements since its independence, as well as the relations between Nepal and Brazil, emphasizing the pursuit of a more just and equitable society and the fight against hunger.
Mr. Everton Lucero, the director of the India, South, and Southeast Asia department of Itamaraty, also spoke congratulating Nepal on its national day.
After the speeches, guests were treated to a lunch featuring traditional Nepalese dishes, including a delicious dessert, the Gulab Jamun
