The CCBB brings the exhibition “Tesouros Ancestrais do Peru” (Ancient Treasures of Peru) to Brasília. The exhibit is a journey through time and an invitation for the public to closely experience the history and culture of the ancient Andean civilizations. It features 162 pieces dating from 900 BC to 1600 AD, highlighting ceramics, copper, gold, silver artifacts, and textiles.

Divided into five thematic sections – Timeline, Mining, Deities and Rituals, Ceramics and Textiles, and Colonization – the exhibition presents a rare set of objects discovered during various archaeological expeditions. Recognized as a heritage by the Ministry of Culture of Peru, the collection belongs to the Mujica Gallo Foundation and is part of the Museo Oro del Perú y Armas del Mundo catalog.

The exhibition is sponsored by Banco do Brasil and BB Asset Management through the Federal Law for Cultural Incentives.

O CCBB traz para Brasília a exposição “Tesouros Ancestrais do Peru”. A mostra é uma viagem no tempo e um convite para o público conhecer de perto a história e a cultura das antigas civilizações andinas. São 162 peças datadas entre 900 a.C e 1600 d.C, com destaque para cerâmicas, artefatos de cobre, ouro, prata e têxteis.

Dividida em cinco blocos temáticos – Linha do Tempo, Mineração, Divindades e Rituais, Cerâmica e Têxteis, e Colonização – a exposição apresenta um raro conjunto de objetos descobertos em diversas expedições arqueológicas. Reconhecida como patrimônio pelo Ministério da Cultura do Peru, a coleção pertence à Fundação Mujica Gallo e integra o catálogo do Museo Oro del Perú y Armas del Mundo.

A mostra é patrocinada pelo Banco do Brasil e BB Asset Management, por meio da Lei Federal de Incentivo à Cultura.
