The strength of clay and ceramics is the theme of the exhibition INTEMPERISMOS – Barro, fogo e arte (Weathering — Clay, fire and art), on display at the Quanto Café gallery, in Asa Norte.
Curated by Clauder Diniz, the exhibition brings together works by Débora Amorim, Emiliano Nunes, Isabel Se Oh, Júlia Pinheiro and Rodrigo Machado and focuses on the production of ceramic sculptures by artists who invest in a more authorial production. They all work with ceramics and produce utilitarian pieces, but the curator opted for a more conceptual look when making a selection of the works on display.
The exhibited works are far from the common object and demonstrate emotions, cultural heritage and contact with the sacred. The visitor will see masks and sculptures of unique beauty.

A força do barro e da cerâmica é o tema da exposição Intemperismos — Barro, fogo e arte, em cartaz na galeria do Quanto Café. Com curadoria de Clauder Diniz, a mostra reúne obras de Débora Amorim, Emiliano Nunes, Isabel Se Oh, Júlia Pinheiro e Rodrigo Machado e tem como foco a produção de esculturas em cerâmicas por artistas que investem em uma produção mais autoral. Todos trabalham com cerâmica e têm uma produção de peças utilitárias, mas é no olhar mais conceitual que o curador apostou ao fazer o recorte das obras expostas.
As obras expostas fogem do objeto comum e demonstram emoções, herança cultural e contato com o sagrado. O visitante verá máscaras e esculturas de beleza única.
