“Circo Rudá” (circus) presents in Brasilia the show “Marabá” in the parking lot of Boulevard Shopping (mall0, from November 8 to December 2, with sessions from Thursday to Sunday.

The “Circo Rudá”, transmits the millennial cultural tradition of this art that resists through time and is reinvented in the mix between novelty and tradition. The show “Marabá” focuses on an important look at the identity of the Brazilian people. Rudá is a circus with dramaturgy that unites the physical preparation of the artists to the talent in telling histories.

The costumes of the troupe were created by Leandro Vieira, carnival champion by Mangueira* and the script and staging of Neyde Veneziano, great reference in theatrical direction and interpretation. For Gustavo Lobo, founder and creator of the company Rudá, the show makes reality the possibility of making quality circus in Brazil. The artist has already gone through some of the world’s leading circus companies, such as the Canadian Cirque Du Soleil and Cirque Eloize, as well as the Swiss Sunil Theater by Daniele Finzi Pasca.

The show stages high performance artistic and athletic elements. Different languages mixed as a mosaic, showing that the tradition of a language can always remain current. By the resistant and creative hands of its artists the circus renews itself and survives through time, transiting between new and old generations.

The first act called “Na Caravela” (In the Caravel), has an epic tone. The second act “Em terras Tropicais” (In tropical lands) happens in the 20’s and has a naive tone portraying the circus of that period and showing how were the spectacles of the premodern era. At the spectacle “Marabá” the protagonist has the dream to be a circus artist persisting in its objective to integrate the troupe of a great circus. The idea is to show that even with all the difficulties the Brazilian is talented and with hard work, he fights for his dreams respecting nature.
