On Saturday, July 19th, CAIXA Cultural in Brasília will host a June festival that pays homage to Brazilian traditions. The event is a great opportunity for fun and culture for the whole family!
Ready for a Saturday filled with the colors, sounds, and flavors typical of Brazilian popular festivals? Celebrate the most joyful and engaging festival of the year with the CAIXA Gente Arteira Educational Program!
The 2025 Festival of June is a tribute to Brazilian traditions, inspired by the works of artist Yara Tupinambá, in her painting “Um Projeto de São João” (A Project of Saint John), part of the CAIXA artistic collection.
In this celebration, adults and children will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of games, music, gastronomy, and culture, promoting an understanding of Brazilian roots in a playful and educational way. It’s an opportunity to strengthen bonds, learn, and have fun, while celebrating the playful and joyful spirit of the Brazilian people.
The main attractions include traditional dance performances (Quadrilha junina) with the group Eita Bagaceira, a show by Grupo Seu Estrelo with the Trovão da Mata Winged Orchestra, and forró music with the Mel de Lamparina trio. There will be also traditional games like fishing, ring games, face painting, and other activities (kids love them!). Decor inspired by the work of Yara Tupinambá completes the program.
Showtimes:
• 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – DJ
• 6:00 PM – Seu Estrelo Parade and Trovão da Mata Winged Orchestra
• 8:00 PM – Traditional dance (quadrilha junina) with the group Eita Bagaceira
• 9:00 PM – Mel de Lamparina Trio
Admission is free, as are the games. Each child can collect three tokens to play at the booths and have a blast.

Preparados para um sábado repleto de cores, sons e sabores típicos das festas populares brasileiras? Celebre o arraial mais alegre e envolvente do ano com o Programa Educativo CAIXA Gente Arteira!
O Arraial Arteiro de 2025 é uma homenagem às tradições do Brasil, inspirado nas obras da artista Yara Tupinambá, na sua pintura Um Projeto de São João, parte do acervo artístico da CAIXA.
Nesta celebração, adultos e crianças terão a oportunidade de mergulhar em uma atmosfera de brincadeiras, música, gastronomia e cultura, promovendo o entendimento das raízes brasileiras de forma lúdica e educativa. Uma oportunidade de fortalecer laços, aprender e se divertir, enquanto se celebra o espírito brincalhão e alegre do povo brasileiro.
Entre as atrações principais, apresentações de quadrilha com a Junina Eita Bagaceira, show do Grupo Seu Estrelo com a Orquestra Alada Trovão da Mata e forró com o trio Mel de Lamparina. Também, brincadeiras tradicionais como Pescaria, Jogo da Argola, Pintura de Rosto e outras atividades (as crianças adoram!). A decoração inspirada na obra de Yara Tupinambá completa a programação.

A entrada é gratuita e as brincadeiras também. Cada criança poderá retirar três fichas para brincar nas barracas e se divertir de montão.
