Brasilia will be celebrating its birthday with musical attractions, happening on Sunday, April 21 from 10:00 until 11:59pm, with free admission, taking place at Complexo Cultural da República, in Setor Cultural Sul, Esplanada dos Ministérios.

Every year musical attractions are invited to perform in Brasília, in commemoration of Brasilia’s birthday and this year won’t be different. Various artists of diverse styles will cheer the audience.

Among the attractions, the event counts on the performance by the Carnival band “Bloco Eduardo e Mônica” with participation of singer Digão and Canisso (of the Band Raimundos), Marcelo Bonfá (of the pop band Legião Urbana), Marcela (of the band Maskavoo) and the band Scalene, on the stage “Palco Ipê Amarelo”.

The Pop singer Anitta will be the main attraction of the party. Anitta is one of the most popular and influent artists of the moment in Brazil, the artist gathers participations with some international artists and more than 400 million views on her most played song on YouTube.

In addition to the musical attractions, the festival will also feature the “Palco Gastronômico” (Gastronomic Stage), which will be set up between the Museu Nacional da República (Republic’s Museum) and the Biblioteca Nacional (National Library). There will be food trucks and a stage with children’s attractions and shows by local artists.
