Jean-Michel Basquiat’s exposition – Obras da Coleção Mugrabi, will be the scenario of the party “Night in the Museum” on June 22nd, at 8 pm. Inspired by European museum nightlife, the event features many cultural activities, DJs, street dance and live painting. All of the attractions make references to New York’s atmosphere of the 70’s and 80’s, when Basquiat was a huge influencer with his art works.
The gallerie stays open until midnight. Audiences can experience the biggest Basquiat exposition Brazil has ever hosted, with more than 80 art pieces ranging from drawings, engravings and colored plates. Pieces like Heart Attack (1984), Eggs (1985), and others are present in the exposition.
Specially decorated venue and food offered at the foodtruck foodcourt are other attractives for this unforgettable party. Tickets can already be acquired and will be available until the day of the event.
