The film O CONTADOR 2 (The Accountant 2) hits Brazilian theaters with more action involving the character Christian Wolff, whose logical thinking, difficulty in social relationships and ability to fight please the audience that is a fan of action movies.
Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) has a special talent for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance of his is murdered, but before dying leaves an enigmatic message to “find the accountant”, Wolff feels compelled to solve the case. When he realizes that more extreme measures are necessary, he recruits his distant, tough and highly lethal brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal), to help him. In partnership with the Deputy Director of the US Treasury, Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they discover a fatal conspiracy and become the target of a ruthless network of assassins determined to do anything to keep their secrets buried.
The Accountant 2 is the sequel to the 2016 blockbuster “The Accountant,” and reunites director Gavin O’Connor, screenwriter Bill Dubuque, producers Lynette Howell Taylor and Mark Williams, and actors Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson and J.K. Simmons, as well as Daniella Pineda and Allison Robertson. Ben Affleck is also a producer on The Accountant 2, and the executive producers are director Gavin O’Connor, Scott LaStaiti, Jamie Patricof, Matt Damon, Michael Joe, Kevin Halloran, Dani Bernfeld and Alison Winter.
The Accountant 2 premiered in Brazil on April 24 and has dubbed and subtitled versions.
