The art exhibition, “Daqui Pra Frente” (From Now On – The Contemporary Art in Angola), is open for visits at the Galleries Piccola I and II , in Caixa Cultural.
Through photographs, videos and installations, the exhibition by young Angolan artists Délio Jasse, Mónica de Miranda and Yonamine, makes a comparative mapping of the aesthetic frontier between Colonial Angola and Contemporary Angola.
The production of the three artists exposes, from different perspectives, the relations of the ex-colony with the colonizer, demonstrating their tensions and consequences.
