On September 2nd, 2009, the embassy of Vietnam celebrated the 64th anniversary of Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic relations with Brazil. In the occasion, the Vietnamese ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Nguyen Thac Dinh, received many guests to a celebrating dinner party at the embassy of Vietnam, located at the Lago Sul neighborhood, in Brasília. |

The ambassador of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Thac Dinh, made a speech mentioning the growth of Vietnam and Brazil relations in the last five years, resulting in a bilateral commerce of more than 500 million dollars per year. He was applauded for his words. |

There was an atmosphere of joy and fraternization during the entire event. Ambassador Dinh and the other Vietnamese diplomats and attachés were greeted by all for the commemorative date and for the successful celebration. |
